The International Institute of the Bay Area is a non-profit organization that provides a variety of services to immigrant communities in San Francisco, Alameda, and San Mateo counties. IIBA was formed in June of 2007 when the International Institute of San Francisco merged with the International Institute of the East Bay. As a result of the merger, IIBA is now a stronger organization with a regional approach to current challenges facing immigrant communities. Citizenship:	Helps people in San Francisco and San Mateo counties to prepare for USCIS citizenship interviews and tests.
Immigration Law:	Assists immigrants and their family members in San Francisco, San Mateo and Alameda counties to navigate the rules, regulations, and deadlines governing over 40 U.S. immigration procedures.
YouthCares:	Brings together a diverse group of youth to gain leadership and job skills through intergenerational and peer-tutoring programs.
Newcomers Health Program:	Promotes the health and well-being of refugees and asylees in San Francisco while providing interpreter support for primary care services.
Safety Network:	Strengthens neighborhood communication between residents, businesses and police to prevent violence.

Our mission: To enable immigrants and refugees to become fully participating citizens in their new communities.
